En un campo como el de la aeronáutica no se puede dejar ningún detalle al azar: herramientas, controles de calidad, programas de diseño y sobre todo máquinas-herramienta. Uno de los ejemplos más destacables de estos equipos son los que ofrece DMG-Mori Seiki, cuya tecnología avanzada de 4 y 5 ejes y fiabilidad convenció a la Veiru, S.L.
Más de tres décadas avalan a esta empresa madrileña de mecanizados, especializada en la realización de piezas para el sector aeronáutico y aeroespacial. “Hemos visto nacer, hemos participado y seguimos haciéndolo en proyectos tan importantes como el Airbus A380, el avión de transporte militar A400M, el avión de repostaje en vuelo MRTT A330 y el último proyecto de Airbus A350”, presume su gerente, Roberto Ocampos, en esta entrevista.
¿Cuál es el origen de su empresa? ¿Cuál es su principal actividad?
Veiru, S.L. se fundó en 1977 y tras más de 30 años de trayectoria se ha especializado en la industria aeronáutica y aeroespacial, sin olvidar otros sectores como la electrónica de precisión, la nanotecnología y la automoción. Nuestra vocación es la de servicio al cliente, intentando siempre cumplir sus expectativas en cuanto a calidad, tecnología, rapidez en el servicio y precios competitivos.
¿Qué tipo de piezas fabrican para el sector aeronáutico?
Las piezas que fabricamos en Veiru son de alta complejidad y precisión. Esto sólo es posible gracias a la maquinaria de última generación y tecnología de la que disponemos. Fabricamos piezas de torneado de 2, 3, 4 y 5 ejes en materiales como aluminio, titanio, aceros aleados, bronces, etc. También fabricamos piezas de fresado en 3, 4 y 5 ejes en los materiales descritos anteriormente. Las piezas que fabricamos forman parte de la estructura metálica de los aviones y satélites de distintos programas de Airbus (A320, A330-340, A350, A380), Airbus Military (Eurofighter, MRTT, A400M, C295, C235), Embraer (E190, E170), Boeing (B747), etc.
Sobre su actividad para el sector aeronáutico, ¿qué requisitos básicos exige este sector a sus empresas subcontratadas?
Los requisitos básicos que exige el sector aeronáutico son estar certificado en la norma EN9100 (norma de calidad del sector aeroespacial), ofrecer un control de calidad exigente y fiabilidad en las entregas; ser una empresa saneada económicamente, con el fin de poder afrontar inversiones en tecnología y contar con capacidad tecnológica para la fabricación de piezas complejas y de alta precisión.
